A man trying to steal from a power transformer had the oil blown to his face.

Tragedy struck today as a young man who broke into the barricade of a transformer that supplies electricity to a community in otolo Nnewi to steal from the transformer was seriously injured by the transformer's oil.

According to eye witness, the explosion was what alerted the community as everyone ran out to see the injured young man. He has since been arrested and taken away by the men of Nigeria police force.
