Below pictures are the looks of some of the most vibrant places in south-east of Nigeria, it can be seen that the streets are deserted as the people seem to be sitting at home, the people of the south-east in recent time are adopting the tradition of a sit-at-home on every 30th of may, this they say is to honour the memory of the people killed during the civil war. Earlier the police police warned that any activity towards that will be frustrated, even some south politicians also disowned the move. but today, as can be seeing in the pictures, most of the vibrant areas are deserted.
